What you’ll need

1 Carrot

1 tbsp. Honey

Wash the carrot properly and peel its outer skin. Grate it or make a fine paste in a blender. Now pass this through a sieve to extract its juice. Add 1 tablespoon honey to this carrot juice and apply on face for 20-25 minutes. Wash with water and pat dry. Use this face mask thrice a week for best results.

Yogurt-Cocoa Face Mask

Ready for an exquisitely scented experience? Cocoa face masks offer some intense hydration and are extremely popular for their incredible beauty benefits. Rich in antioxidants, these velvety textured masks act on fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness and dryness making it visibly firmer, supple and polished.

What you’ll need

½ tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1 tbsp. Yogurt

Combine half tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder with one tablespoon yogurt and half tablespoon honey to make a paste. Leave this mask on face and neck for 20 minutes and wash with water. Pat dry and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Lentil (Masoor Dal) Pack

Masoor Dal is a common lentil found in every Indian household. It is not just delicious but has proven health and beauty benefits too. Powdered Masoor Dal can be used to get rid of the tan, to exfoliate, lighten blemishes and to brighten the skin.

Soak few almonds in water for at least 6 hours (or overnight). Remove the skin and make a fine paste in a blender. You can alternatively use few drops of Almond Oil.

Mix Powdered Masoor Dal, Almond Paste/Almond Oil, and Milk to make a face pack. Apply a layer of this pack and leave on the face till it is dry. Wash with water.

Banana-Honey Face Mask

Bananas are loaded with Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Potassium. This super fruit helps in improving the appearance of age spots and fights the loss of elasticity by boosting collagen production. Vitamins along with other antioxidants diminish wrinkles giving younger, firmer skin.

½ Ripe Banana

1 tbsp. Honey

1tbsp. Olive Oil (For very dry skin)

Mash half banana and add 1 tablespoon honey to make a paste. You can add 1 tablespoon Olive Oil if you have very dry skin. Spread this mask uniformly on cleansed face and neck and leave for 30 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.

Papaya-Yogurt Mask

Papaya is a rich source of Vitamin A and enzyme Papain, which together exfoliate and work to diminish the appearance of dark spots and signs of aging. Papain also softens and revitalizes the skin. Its regular use is effective in maintaining texture and illuminating dull skin.

What you’ll need

Few cubes of Papaya

1 tbsp. of yogurt

Put few cubes of papaya in a blender and make a smooth paste. Add one tablespoon of yogurt to it and blend again. Apply a thin layer on face and gently massage for 5 minutes. Leave this pack for 20 minutes and rinse with water. When used regularly, this mask reinforces skin elasticity for a younger-looking complexion.
