Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub Review

After reviewing Himalaya Kesar Face Wash, here is my next review for a product from the same brand- Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub. It is important to use a scrub once or twice a week to maintain the texture and appearance of the skin. I prefer to use scrubs that are mild because that’s what my skin prefers. My skin is normal to dry and I like to use scrubs that keep my skin hydrated and remove impurities and dead skin at the same time. Since I have been using this product for more than a month, it is the right time to share my views on the product.

My Experience with Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub

This scrub is packed in a regular opaque white tube with a green flip top cap. The ingredient list is mentioned on the back side of the tube. The packaging is basic and travel-friendly.

The scrub is off white and the apricot granules are brown in color. I take a little amount of the scrub and use it in circular motion to buff away dead cells.  Its texture is creamy and spreads easily on the face. The granules are harsh but the quantity of the creamy base is more which makes the scrub non-abrasive. My face feels cleaner and brighter after its use. It gently sloughs away dead skin and unclogs the pores. The ones that have loosened can be easily removed with a blackhead remover. This scrub doesn’t leave my skin dry and it doesn’t feel stretchy after use. I sometimes follow it with Himalaya Kesar face pack and it is like a mini facial for my skin. Its regular use helps to keep my skin soft and supple. However, this scrub is strictly meant for use on dry skin. Since its particles are harsh, it may irritate sensitive skin. This scrub is not effective enough for removing stubborn blackheads. And its texture is creamy, it will not suit oily skin either.

The fragrance of this scrub is mild and pleasant. Its smell is somewhat floral which disappears in some time. Overall, it is an affordable option for dry skinned beauties for regular use. I prefer to use it twice a week to keep my skin healthy.

What I like about the product

  1. Mild and hydrating.
  2. Travel-friendly.
  3. Affordable.
  4. Good for dry skin.

What I don’t like about the product

  1. Doesn’t remove stubborn blackheads.
  2. Not meant for sensitive and oily skin.

Verdict: I will recommend Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub to dry skinned beauties. Its exfoliating action is mild and it will work on my kind of skin which doesn’t struggle with stubborn blackheads. It is a decent scrub which leaves the skin soft and hydrated.
