Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash Review

Since we are talking about Ayurvedic products this month, I am back another review- Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash. After using Roop Mantra Lime & Mint Face Wash and Roop Mantra Mix fruit face wash, I was looking forward to using the other products from this range. This product contains Aloe Vera, Tulsi and Neem which are known for their skincare benefits. I often use fresh Aloe Vera Gel on my skin and had written a post on how to extract its gel a few days back which you can read HERE.  Since Aloe vera has so many skin benefits, I love it when its a part of my beauty products.

My Experience with Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash

I am using Roop Mantra face washes from quite some time now and it is time to review the next face wash from their range. Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash comes in a white tube with a flip top cap. The packaging is basic and similar to their other face washes. The face wash has a gel-like texture which is on the runny side. It has a mild fragrance which is pleasant and not overpowering at all. I like that people with sensitive noses will not be bothered by its smell.

I use a little amount of the product and as instructed, mix it with some water to wash my face. Trust me, my skin feels instantly softer after using it. I do not like harsh products that dry out my skin and this is by far my best pick from this range. My skin does not feel dry or stretchy after its use and I have tested it by skipping moisturizer on a few occasions. It does not irritate my skin and I think it will be a good choice for those with sensitive skin. However, I feel that it may not work for oily skinned people who need a little extra to control and manage oil on the face.

Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash Review

It has good cleansing action and removes all dirt, impurities and sunscreen. If you use makeup, I will recommend removing it with a cleansing oil before washing your face. This face wash is mild and will not be able to remove stubborn makeup. Plus, this is the best way of removing all traces of makeup from the skin.

You need a dedicated skincare routine for pimples, lightening blemishes or removing signs of premature aging and I don’t think that a face wash alone can do all these tasks. However, this face wash can be a great addition to your beauty routine when used with other products and treatments and can help in keeping skin healthy and glowing.

What I like about the product

  • Good cleansing action.
  • Very gentle on the skin.
  • Skin feels soft and hydrated after use.
  • Light, pleasant fragrance.
  • Travel-friendly tube.
  • Affordable.

What I don’t like about the product:

  • May not work for oily skinned people.
  • Not meant for removing stubborn, waterproof makeup.

Verdict: Roop Mantra Aloe Vera Face Wash is a gentle product and has a good cleansing action. It leaves the skin soft and I have never noticed any dryness after its use.  It will suit people with normal, dry, combination and sensitive skin. However, you must do a patch test before using any new product if your skin is sensitive. Overall, a product that I will recommend!
