The Body Shop British Rose Body Yogurt Review
I am an impulsive buyer and every time I spot a product that looks good, I can’t stop myself from buying it. The shopaholic in me couldn’t resist the temptation of buying body yogurts from The Body Shop and I purchased four of them a few weeks back- Almond, British Rose, Mango, and Moringa. The consistency of these body yogurts is between runny lotions and solid body butters which makes them perfect for use in summers. Another thing that I can’t miss is their amazing fragrance! Who doesn’t like to smell good all day and these yogurts give a fresh start to my mornings and help me stay confident all day.
The product that I am reviewing today is The Body Shop British Rose Body Yogurt. Out of all the yogurts that I have tried, it is my least favorite from this range. Want to know why? Keep reading the review to know more!

My Experience With TBS British Rose Body Yogurt: Since I love great smelling products, TBS British Rose Body Yogurt scores full marks here. Kudos to the team for not making it a typical rose smelling product. It is a mild and spicy rose fragrance, neither too sweet nor too strong. The fragrance lingers on the skin for some time but it is not as long-lasting as the others from this range. Since the consistency is not very thick, it is easy to apply and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. Now coming to the most important part- hydration. The main reason why this yogurt doesn’t work for me is the lack of long-lasting hydration after using it. I do not feel any softness or moisturization after applying it and it just doesn’t work for me. I prefer to use it in the night these days since I have to finish the tub and its mild fragrance enhances my sleep experience.
What I Like About The Product:
- Easy to apply.
- Beautiful rose fragrance.
- 100% vegan.
What I Don’t Like About The Product:
- It doesn’t hydrate the skin well and is not suitable even for summers.
- Bulky jar packaging.
Verdict: While I love how The Body Shop British Rose Body Yogurt smells, it doesn’t moisturize my skin well which is why I prefer the other body yogurts from the range. Now, the most important question-Will I repurchase it? No!
